All ladders are pre-drilled for steps and steel rod step supports. Each Ladder comes with steps and top turned dowel rod and assembly hardware. Step supports are purchased separately, but seven rung supports are included when you purchase a Hardware Kit. To determine the height of your library ladder, first find the height at which your will mount the center of your rail (e.g. 107 in.). Then add 5 in. to that measurement (107 in. + 5 in. = 112 in). This is the height of your ladder.

For loft ladders, measure down 3.5 in. from the loft platform. So if your opening is 96 in. from the floor, your measurement will be 96 in. - 3.5 = 92.5 in. Add 5 in. to this measurement (92.5 + 5 in. = 97.5 in. This is the height of your loft ladder.
